REACH OUR DELEGATES, SHOWCASING ARTISTS AND AUDIENCES

English Folk Expo invites up to 200 UK and international music industry representatives to our annual showcase in Manchester each October. Delegates are from across the sector and include promoters, festivals, venues, agents, labels, managers, funders, services and more.

In addition, we work directly with more than 100 folk, roots and acoustic artists each year through our festivals, showcases, gigs and mentoring programmes.

We reach approximately 10,000 live audiences across the North West of England annually through our festivals and events offer.

There are multiple opportunities for interested parties to reach these delegates, artists and audiences.

ADVERTISE

Advertising in the delegates’ programme: The delegates’ programme is the conference bible and is the key reference material that delegates use while at English Folk Expo and will take away for reference after the event.

Advertising in the festival programmes: Manchester Folk Festival, Rochdale Folk Festival and our wider promotions programme reach approximately 10,000 people across the North West of England.

Sponsoring the official delegate lanyard: with the name of your organisation or event: This will give you profile across the event in the eye-line of every delegate.

Including an insert in the delegates’ goodie bag: Inserts limited to three companies/organisations per annual event so that the inserts that are included will get noticed. Inserts could be a CD, a memory stick, leaflet, magazine sample. This is the ideal way to make sure that your materials are in the delegates’ possession and bagged up ready to be taken home with them.

TRADE FAIR

Taking a trade stand: there is a four hour trade fair on the Saturday morning/lunchtime of English Folk Expo Showcase when trade stand holders have a unique opportunity to present their services and artist rosters to the delegates attending and artists performing at our annual showcase. English folk, roots and acoustic artists not performing at the event will also be able to take advantage of this opportunity and take a trade stand for the event.

SHOWCASE

Present your artists: We provide bespoke opportunities to present selected artists to English Folk Expo delegates through a dedicated showcase. This is aimed at agents, labels, management companies or similar who are looking to present artists they work with to delegates and raise the profile of their organisation.

These events are tailored to meet an organisation’s requirements, but as a guide they are usually 2 hours in length and showcase 3 artists. The organisation covers the direct event and catering costs plus a small facility fee to contribute towards EFEx’s producing team.
